The NorthStar Connect® Remote Services app allows users to have complete control over their Honeywell security system, as well as thermostats, lighting, locks, and more. It offers the convenience of receiving text messages and email alerts, live video viewing, and access to video doorbell events. With real-time capabilities, users can locate their vehicles or assets at any time of the day or night.
Requirements for using the app include having compatible Honeywell security systems and a subscription to NorthStar Connect Remote Services. For more information, users are advised to contact their security professional.
Highlighted features of the app include the ability to arm or disarm the security system, control lights, adjust thermostat temperatures, unlock or lock doors, and control August Smart Lock. Users can also create Smart Scenes with a Wizard guide for added convenience. The app allows for live video viewing and provides alerts via email and text for home or business events such as alarms, extreme temperature changes, motion detection in restricted areas, movement of valuable items, and more.
The NorthStar Connect app offers language support in English, Latin American Spanish, French Canadian, and Brazilian Portuguese. It also provides secure login with fingerprint authentication. In addition, users can create different user profiles and manage security system codes. The app even offers a Test Drive Demo feature for users to explore its functionality.
